The beginning of summer gives the kick-off to the most hectic time of the capital musically speaking.
And, during the coming months, the Madrid 2019 festivals will host dozens of musical events, including some of the most renowned festivals in the country.

Mad Cool 2019

The Mad Cool festival is a national and international benchmark. Between July 11 and 13 will celebrate its fourth edition, however, despite his youth, Mad Cool has become one of the great events of the year and an essential appointment for all those Madrileños who love indie, rock and electronics
No wonder, among the formations that star in the poster Mad Cool 2019 we find The Cure, The Smashing Pumpkins, Vetusta Morla, Iggi Pop, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, The Chemical Brothers or Vampire Weekend, almost nothing …
The appointment with all of them will take place in Valdebebas – Ifema. The three-day pass costs 187 euros.

Nights of the Botanist 2019

If we talk about music festivals Madrid 2019, Madrid’s summer can not be understood without the Mad Cool, but neither without the Botanical 2019 Nights, a cycle of concerts at sunset that extends until July 31 with various performances where we can enjoy the most diverse and applauded of the national and world music scene.
This year, the Royal Botanical Garden Alfonso XIII will host the performances of such charismatic bands, musicians and soloists as Woody Allen, Los Planetas, Salvador Sobral, Ivan Ferreiro, Michael Bolton, Diego El Cigala, Niña Pastori, Keane or Andrés Calamaro.

Download Festival y Dcode Festival 2019

We also have some quotes for lovers of disparate genres. If the heavy is your thing, surely you have heard about the Download Festival 2019, you may even have tickets already, because the most important musical event of the summer in Madrid is celebrated from June 28 to 30 at La Caja Mágica.
The three-day pass costs 155 euros and, in exchange, you can enjoy the live shows of Scorpions, Slipknot and Tool, Architects, Red Fang, Toundra, Children of Bodom, Watain, Red Fang or Chevelle.
Although if you have more alternative rhythms, you should mark in the calendar an essential appointment with the Dcode Festival 2019, on the University Campus of the UCM.
Of course, you will have to wait until September 7 to bid farewell to the rhythm of Two Door Cinema Club, Amaral, The Cardigans, EELS or Viva Suecia.

Babel River and Garden of Delights Festival 2019

What can not wait so long to enjoy a good festival? So get on the bandwagon of the Rio Babel 2019 Festival, a young date with national and Latin American music that this year brings us to groups and artists like Jorge Drexler, Love of Lesbian, La Pegatina, Dorian, Fuel Fandango or Bomba Estéreo.
Río Babel is held from July 4 to 6 at the Feria de Madrid and the three-day ticket costs 71.50 euros.
And from the refreshing rhythm of Rio Babel we passed the Jardín de las Delicias Festival 2019, a multidisciplinary bet that celebrates on September 21 its second edition in the Cantarranas Sports Complex and that includes different artistic expressions and the direct one by Andrés Suárez, Coti, Bely Basarte, Marlon or Guitarricadelafuente.
With this list of music festivals in Madrid, it’s hard to complain about a summer in Madrid, right? Even more so if we take into account the number of international performances that come to the city in the summer months and outside of the festivals. Elton John, Sweet
California, Bon Jovi, Muse, Alice Cooper or Michael Bublé are some of them.
